Debt Collections Services UK Ltd (DCS) are looking for a new dedicated Customer Service / Credit Control /Collections Advisor to join our growing team
Full time, permanent
Salary up to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience
Office hours: 8am - 6pm (Monday - Thursday) 8am - 5pm (Fridays)
Split shifts: 8am - 4pm and 10am - 6pm
One Saturday a month (10am - 2pm)

Customer Service / Collections Advisor - The Role
As our Collections Advisor, youll be the frontline of our customer interactions, helping to manage accounts and resolve queries. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers via telephone and email to take payments, set up payment plans, and resolve queries
Contact customers when accounts fall into arrears
Address customer queries related to financial difficulties
Handling difficult conversations in a sensitive and professional manner
Handle incoming mail/post related to customer queries
Liaise with clients to provide updates and information
Our Ideal Candidate
Were looking for someone who is customer-focused and has a strong credit control or customer service background.
You will also have:
A minimum of two years experience in Credit Control or Customer Service
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Excellent IT skills.
Good telephone manner - can communicate effectively and professionally
A logical thought process to resolve queries.
Excellent organisational skills to manage personal workload, phone calls and queries.
Ability to work on own, demonstrating drive and initiative.
Team player, willing to share ideas and techniques with other team colleagues to improve the business.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet business needs
